The soft floral curtains and cozy armchairs made me feel right at home. Plus, the hotel's general areas were easily accessible for us senior folk, with wide hallways and conveniently placed handrails. It was such a relief to feel safe and secure during my stay.
If I were to ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more assistance from the children working there. Sometimes an extra pair of helping hands can make all the difference for us older folks.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of the Oak Frame Studio. The beautiful furniture and soft colors created such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. It was a joy to relax in the general areas and admire the lovely design. Additionally, as a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be exceptional. The pathways were clear and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate around the property.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be to have handrails installed in the bathroom. This small addition would provide extra support and ensure a safer and more comfortable stay for older guests.

I recently stayed at the Oak Frame Studio for a short getaway. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the stunning views and attention to detail. The owner was incredibly friendly and provided helpful advice about the local area. The property itself was beautiful, with a functional kitchenette and a cozy atmosphere. I loved being able to lie in bed and stargaze at night or watch the sunrise in the morning. The location offered great walking opportunities right from the doorstep. The Black Bull at Nateby and the Taggy Man pub were both fantastic dining options nearby. it was a perfect hideaway with a friendly host, and I can't wait to return for a longer stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

Engaging Activities: During my stay in Kirkby Stephen, I had the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of the area. I went hiking and canoeing, immersing myself in the breathtaking nature. It was like being in an adventure movie, with each step revealing a new scenic wonder.
Wet Room Improvement: The shower/bathroom combination as a wet room was a unique concept. However, to enhance safety, I'd recommend providing a chunky rubber bath mat.
